Looking for the best brunch in Phoenix, Arizona? There are so many great brunch spots in Phoenix, it can be hard to choose. This post lists out some of my favorite brunch restaurants in the area to help guide you in the right direction!
Arizona has become one of our favorite springtime destinations (mostly because we visit for baseball spring training!). Of course, whenever we are in the area, we are always seeking out the best restaurants to eat at.
While I don’t normally eat big breakfasts, I do enjoy scoping out a destination’s brunch scene when we travel. I love that brunch doesn’t mean having to get up super early to get in your first meal of the day (a morning person I am not)! I also enjoy the fact that you can generally choose from breakfast or lunch items, so depending on how late in the day you go, bases are covered for both meals!
Restaurants in the Greater Phoenix area definitely do brunch right. From your standard brunch menus to those special spots that add a touch of Southwest flare, restaurants in Phoenix are making brunch fun – and tasty! While there are still so many places for us to discover, here are a few of my favorite spots we’ve visited thus far that I think have the some of the best brunch in Phoenix.
Fàme Caffe
4700 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012
https://famecaffe.com/
Fàme Caffe is a great brunch spot located in the north end of the Midtown neighborhood. Here, you can get breakfast favorites like omelets, scrambles, and pancakes; Mexican-inspired dishes such as chilaquiles, breakfast tacos and huevos rancheros; and menu items with French flare like their Croque Madame, Monte Cristo, and Parisian omelet.
We had the pleasure of chowing down on their chilaquiles with chorizo and the breakfast wrap (also with chorizo) and I highly recommend both! Their chai latte was also delicious and they even have their own tasty house-made hot sauce.
Fàme Caffe will likely have a line for brunch, especially on weekends. However, they move customers through rather quickly and the food comes out lightning fast once ordered!
Valentine
4130 N 7th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85013

Located in the Melrose neighborhood of Phoenix, Valentine is an eclectic restaurant located in a former filling station adorned in Mid-Century Modern style. Their brunch menu elevates traditional breakfast items with an Arizonan flare, sourcing ingredients unique to the American Southwest.
Take traditional biscuits and gravy, but make it Arizonan with a Sonoran wheat biscuit, red chili sausage gravy, and a duck egg. Or, serve up the humble waffle, but make it a churro waffle with dulce de leche, mesquite chai spice, and whipped cream. Both of these dishes we had were incredible and I only wished for an extra biscuit to soak up all the tasty gravy!
This is a must-visit restaurant for foodies looking for an exciting and unique menu. I’m desperate to return here for dinner one day!
Hash Kitchen
Multiple Locations in Greater Phoenix Area
https://www.hashkitchen.com/
Hash Kitchen was the very first brunch restaurant we visited in the Phoenix area and it has such a fun vibe! They have several locations throughout the area – we visited the one in Chandler.
My absolute favorite part about visiting Hash Kitchen was their build-your-own Bloody Mary bar. They have so many toppings to choose from (over 50), including fried raviolis and meatballs. It’s like a meal in itself!
We also had their Carnitas Hash and Huevos Rancheros Hash, which were tasty and the portion sizes were gigantic. The hash dishes are definitely shareable, especially if you are filling up at the Bloody Mary Bar! Next visit, I’d love to give their cannoli donuts a try as well.
Pro Tip: If you can, I recommend getting there early (to avoid a wait) and snagging a seat on the patio as the music indoors can be rather loud.
Ocotillo
3243 N 3rd Street Ac, Phoenix, AZ 85012
https://www.ocotillophx.com/
Located in the Midtown neighborhood of Phoenix, Octotillo’s kitchen is slinging out some tasty savory brunch items. Go all in and get the Breakfast Chimichanga, which is stuffed with black beans, chicken, and scrambled eggs and smothered with green chili sauce and queso fresco. It’s a filling dish, and a winning dish! I also recommend the Smoked Brisket and Parmesan Polenta, which also comes with a fried egg and crispy onions. That polenta is killer! Top it off with a Bloody Mary, and you’ve got yourself a filling and tasty brunch.
Wish List Eats
Since I haven’t tried all of the brunch places in the Greater Phoenix area just here, here are a few I have on my wish list for future trips. Let me know what else I should add!
- Vovomeena: I’m eyeing those corn Johnnycakes with prickly pear syrup and their biscuits and gravy.
- Matt’s Big Breakfast: The Big Poppa Breakfast Burrito has my name all over it.
- The Bread & Honey House: All the Mexican-style breakfast items sound amazing!
